Meet Cody Wicken - The Cowboy Who
Brought His Dream To The Edge Of The Sea
I started Homer Horse Adventures with one horse and a wild dream — to share the beauty of Alaska’s beaches from the back of a horse. I came up from Colorado with my heart horse, Simba, and for a while it was just the two of us and a bus parked close to the ocean.
What began as one man and one horse has grown into a small herd and a big family — of horses, riders, and guests from all over the world. Every ride we offer is personal, peaceful, and deeply connected to this land and these animals.
Our horses get full days of rest, open pasture, and care that comes before everything else. We only ride at low tide, keeping it intimate and respectful — for the horses, the land, and the people who come to experience it.
My mission has always been simple: to give people a once-in-a-lifetime ride, where the ocean meets the mountains and the world feels a little more like heaven.
